Consent statement for optional measurement and advertising
1. Data controller
SEL DIŞ TİCARET VE KİMYA SANAYİ A.Ş., the controller of your personal data, asks for your consent to optional analytics and marketing on Selion.
For questions about your personal data, send an email to kvkk@selsil.com.tr. The Privacy Notice lists the company’s address, MERSİS number and registered electronic delivery address (KEP).
2. Personal data processed
Analytics covers page addresses, product and list identifiers, selected language, the number of search results, contact-link clicks and performance measurements. Analytics cookies help relate visits and sessions.
Depending on the tag, marketing can involve page and product interactions, ad-click information, browser information and advertising identifiers.
The site’s measurement events do not include your contact-form name, email address, phone number or message, or raw text entered in the search box. Query strings and fragments are removed from page addresses used for measurement.
3. Purposes of processing
When you allow Analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure pages and products viewed, use of product lists, and page loading or interaction performance. For example, this helps us understand which products attract interest and which pages have performance problems.
The Marketing choice covers linking advertising interactions to website activity through Meta Pixel and Google Ads. For example, it helps measure which products people view after arriving from an advertisement.
When you allow marketing, your page and product views and clicks on phone or email links are also sent to Meta through our server together with your IP address, browser information and Meta cookie values (_fbp, _fbc) (server-side advertising measurement). If you do not allow it, these events are not sent.
Marketing data is used only to measure advertising results. It is not used to select ads for you, build visitor audiences or show ads again to people who visited the site.
Your consent covers only the purposes you select and that are described here. Optional analytics and marketing rely on your consent under KVKK Article 5(1) and, where applicable, GDPR Article 6(1)(a).
4. Data recipients
Analytics data is sent to Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited to measure site use and performance. Marketing data is sent to Google or Meta Platforms, Inc. / Meta Platforms Ireland Limited to measure ad results. The Privacy Notice explains the recipients’ roles.
5. Withdrawal of consent
Reopen the panel using Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. Under Customize preferences, turn off the relevant category and press Save choice, or use Reject all to withdraw both permissions.
Withdrawal is intended to stop further processing based on that consent; it does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. When you turn a category off, the site deletes that category’s cookies on its own domain; it cannot delete cookies on providers’ own domains or data providers already received. You can delete remaining cookies through your browser settings and request erasure of personal data through the channels in the Privacy Notice.
6. Profiling and automated decisions
The site does not build advertising profiles or visitor audiences and does not run remarketing.
The Privacy Notice covers automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Consent choices and preference management
Opening this page, reading the privacy notice or continuing to browse does not give consent. You make your choice through the cookie panel. You can reject analytics and marketing and still browse products, search and contact us.
Analytics and Marketing are off when you first make a choice. Accept all enables both categories; Reject all keeps both off. Under Customize preferences, enable only the category you want and press Save choice. Accepting one category does not require accepting the other.
These choices cover the purposes described, rather than individual cookie names. Processing necessary to operate the site and remember your choice is not presented as optional analytics or marketing consent. Cookies and processing that rely on consent follow your choice for the relevant category.
Analytics and Marketing are separate choices. The Marketing choice jointly manages the described advertising measurement through Google Ads and Meta Pixel. A new or different consent purpose requires the notice and choices to be updated together and a new choice requested. Accepting marketing cookies does not authorise advertising emails or SMS.
8. What happens without your permission
Before you make a choice, and when you reject, measurement tags are not loaded; no measurement data is sent to Google or Meta. The Privacy Notice provides the details.
9. Preference record and retention periods
Your browser preference is valid for 12 months (365 days). You are asked again if the record is removed, expires or the applicable notice version changes. On expiry or a version change, the analytics and marketing cookies set on this site’s domain under your earlier permission are also removed. Selion keeps no separate server-side consent log. Preference validity, cookie lifetimes and provider data retention are separate matters.
10. International data transfers
Acceptance in the cookie panel is not blanket permission for every international transfer. The Privacy Notice explains transfer scope and safeguards for Google and Meta services.
